About:China Family Reunion Visa

Has anyone successfully got a Q2 visa in Hongkong?

I am currently holding a Tourist L in China and thinking about going making a visa run to Hongkong. I'd like to try to apply for the new Q2 (my understanding is that the new Q2 is very similar to the old tourist L, but with longer stay period). Just want to check whether anyone here has successfully gotten one in HK recently?

Hi, did you visit HK for application? I heard that the changing from L to any other types in mainland is not allowed now. How this can be done if I am not a HK resident?
