How to register my bags if i'm going outside of the airport during a stopover in Beijing airport?

Hello!

Hello! I previously asked you if i can get out of the airport during a stopover and you told me that it was possible without visa. First of all i would like to thank you for your answer. I would like to know now if i can get out of the airport without my bags ? Do i need to register my bags directly to the final destination? Or do i need to register my bags from frankfurt to BJ first , take my bag with me when i will visit the city, and chek in again for the flight BJ - bangkok? Thank you for your help

Yes, as you are qualified for the 72h free-visa policy, you can get out the airport without a visa. But you need to apply for a transit permit from your airline in advance. Then hold the permit, passport and the air tickets to the destination to get out of the airport.

For your luggage, if you hold connecting boarding pass, they may be delivered to the destination directly and you don't need to pick that up on BJ airport and recheck in. Anyway, for the details, it is best to consult your airline.
