Travel Enquiry related to Harbin

Dear Sir / Mdm,

I’m travelling to Beijing in December and currently in the midst of planning 2-3 days trip to Harbin via train.

I will be staying at Ibis H Shangzgi Hotel located at No. 92, Zhaolin Street, Daoli District, China 150010.

I will be travelling by train from Beijing.
However I noticed that there are 3 railway stations located at the city.
They are:
1. Railway Station,
2. West Railway Station &
3. East Railway Station.

Most of the train websites indicated the railway station & the West one.
My question is, which is the appropriate station I should alight to go to the hotel and see the major attractions in the city (Snow & Ice World) and Ski Snow Area and etc.
I sincerely hope that you can reply back to me as I’m traveling with 3 young kids and don’t want to be left stranded and lost by alighting at the wrong station.

Thank you very much.

Regards,
Rafeek Ryan Joshua

Hello, Ryan Joshua,

Regarding your question, I'd say the West Railway Station is better. Here is the reason:
1. Fast train only arraived at the West Station. The fast train can save you at least 2 hours, and there are many alternative choices.
2. There are lots of buses and taxies

But your hotel is closer to the Railway Station, and this station is in the central of the city, the traffic is more convenient. So its up to you.
P.S.: Some train arriaved at Railway Station take almost 8 hours longer than the fast train, so make sure the journey time of the train is ok for you.

I'm staying in Harbin, maybe you can contact me. E-mail:163.com|tjutianchi99
