About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Returning to China with work residency permit

I left my job in China about 2 months ago and want to go back to China for travel. The residence permit in my passport is valid into next year. Can I return to China without changing my permit/visa?

Your residents permit will be cancelled by your employers. You could get through customs in america, but when you arrive in china, they might fine you a lot of money, and even hold you for a few days if your visa is cancelled...
