greatwall visiting issue

Question

i will travel to hong kong on 27th of oct. and i want to visit being from 2nd until 3rd of nov. to see the greatwall, please advice me if i need a visa since i am from kingdom of bahrain? which domestic airline to take and hotel in order to save money? and the most popular section of the geat wall i have to visit? and what about the weather? and things i have to wear?thank u so much

Hi, suppose you arrive at Beijing, there is no need to transfer to planes to visit the wall. Bus is ok. Generally, the most popular section, with many visitors, is Badaling wall, which is worth your time and money. For accommodations, you can stay in Beijing city center at some chain hotels of inns, such as Home Inn and Jinjiang Inn. They have many branches and the cost is generally acceptable. During late Oct. to early Nov. it will be cloudy in most cases and a little cold in Beijing, with the temperature range of 5C to 14C. You'd better preparen light sweater, overcoat and thick jeans. Perhaps, Long John would be necessary as well.
