About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Police registration

Hi there, I will be transferring from New Zealand to Netherlands via Guangzhou (and again on my way back) and would like to stay with my friends there. I understand that after I have been granted 72 hours visa i have 24 hours to register myself with the police. I have previously been to Guangzhou and know that it is quite hard to locate english speaking people. Are there allocated police stations for such regulations or any police station would understand what i need?

According to the law, you have to register with the local PSB that administrates the place where you stay, which means that you can't register with a PSB randomly. If you stay with your friends, I think they can help you with this.
