how can one travel from xiamen to shanghai , to zhangjiagang , to foshanback to

me and a colleague are travelling to XM for the cmef, and then wish to visit certain factories in shanghai, zhangjiagang, foshan and back to XM over a three and a half day period. will we require special permission to travel. which is the fastest way to do so and where can we stay overnight.

From XM to Shanghai, you can take the direct plane between. From Shangahi to Zhangjiagaang, you can take a direct long-distance bus at local General Long-distance Bus Station to reach within 2-3h. From Zhangjiagang to Foshan, you can take a bus to Nantong City first. At local airport, there are planes to Guangzhou. Upon arrival at Guangzhou, you can take train or bus to Foshan. Foshan to XM, it is suggested to go to Guangzhou to transfer to a plane to reach. To travel in these cities, you have to hold a Chinese visa. And it is easy to find hotels in any of them, so you can stay either of them depending on your journey.
