About:Drinking Water in China

Spouse will be on a Wendy Wu China tour for 2 weeks. Is it safe to use tap water in coffee maker?

I am concerned that using tap water in the hotel coffee maker will not kill bacteria in the water. Can you please advise? To me the coffee makers don't boil water, but do heat it to very hot. Thanks

In big cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Xian in China, the tap water has been filtered and there are little bacteria. Though, if you have sensitive body, it is best to boil that instead of only heating!
