About:Exit Regulations of China

Taking money in and out China

Hi;
We fly from US and will stop over in Shanghai for 2 days before go back home to thailand. I will take money $10000.00 with me. It is ok to bring in $ 10000 to china and bring out $10000?

To my experience, it is ok to bring it in and out, but you have to declare that.
