About:China Work Visa

Student visa coming to an end.

I am currently under a students X, but it will be terminated in December and I need another option for staying in china with my mom, as paying for lessons is a little expensive for us right now. I am 21 years old, and was wondering if there were any alternative visas, maybe a dependent one or something?

What is the status of your mom here? Anyway, changing visa types is now unavailable. You may need to apply for a new type in HK.

I am fine with going to Hong Kong in December, but I wanted to know some options for when I go there.
My mom is currently on a Z, and getting a residents permit renewed.

Thank you for your quick response by the way! :)

You can stay until the last day on your student X/residence permit. The processing for a new one in HK takes 4 working days.
