About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 Hour Visa Free Transit for me and my wife

I am a UK Citizen, my wife is a Permanent Resident of the UK, but a Filipino Nation. We have a 12 hour stop-over at Guangzhou and wish to book a hotel 5km from airport. is she OK under the 72 hour system

Hi, it is not necessary to avail this 72 hour free transit for a transit less than 24 hours, you both can apply for stay permits (free of charge) after arrival at the airport if you want to go out of the airport for a hotel.
