About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I get a free transit permit for me and my wife?

I'll be on transit on Beijing for 8 hrs in November, I'm a USA citizen and my wife a US resident with a Colombian passport.
Please let me know what I have to do.

Hi, visa is not required for such a short stopover, if you want to leave the airport transit area, you can just apply for a stay permit after arrival at the airport.
