Do I need to show a transit visa to check into hotel in Beijing.

I have an overnight stay in Beijing en route to Houston , Texas from Manila Phil. My flight arrives at 11 : 30 am from Manila and the flight to Houston is not until 3 pm the following day . Is there a transit lounge in airport where I can stay ? Preferably , I would like to check into hotel . I need information on the necessary documents/ procedures for me to do so. Help .

Hi, there are hourly lounges in the airport. If you want to go out of the airport for a hotel, you can easily get a stay permit with your passport and ticket for leaving from the frontier Inspection Office.
