Train conection from Chongqing to Chengdu

Hi! I will fly to Chongqing in april 2014. I understand there is a new high speed train connecting Chongqing and Chengdu so I can get closer To Mianyang. From Chengdu to MY, what Do you recommend? Train or bus?

There are two direct buses from Chengdu to MY: one leaves from local North Bus Station at 10:30 and the other departs at 20:03 from local Zhaojuesi Bus Station. The bus fare is CNY49 per person.
