About:China Private Visit Visa

S2 type visa

Hello,

I am working in China on a Z. My girlfriend is with me and has been studying up until now, so she has a student X. She wishes to stay but discontinue her studies. Is it possible that she can get a S2 type? Or do we need to be married for this?

She can have a try to apply for S2, but as I know, it is issued to family members of X or Z holders and to those who intend to go to China for other private matters. So, it is possible even you are not married.
