immersion trip to shanghai in nov.what kind of clothes needs to be wore

I'm going on a school immersion trip from 23rd November to 4th of December (12 days). Can you please advice me on the type of clothing to bring? And what are the clothing one should wear indoors? Besides these, what is the avrg temperature during my period of stay in SH?

It is suggested to take the down jacket and thick sweaters. It will be wet and cold for SH in winter. You need to wear the sweaters in the room. The average temperature is around 5 to 12C during that time.
