There is no bullet train service between. It is suggested to take a bus from the ancient town to Changsha first. Then go to Changsha Train Station or Changsha South to take a bullet train to Shanghai. It takes around 5h from Fenghuang to Changsha and the train duration from Changsha to SH is 7h or longer. The train ticket fare is CNY257.5-468.5 for a second class soft seat and CNY323.5-694 for a first class soft seat. You can search the schedule and fare at the TRAIN page at this website.
