possible camping site in east peak, mt. huashan?

hi,is it possible to put up a tent in the east peak for over night stay?like a camping instead of renting in hotel because a friend of mine said that it is very expensive. and maybe next week is not a peak season maybe the mountain is not too crowded?what do you think?thank you so much!tina

Sure, it is allowed to camp or put up a rent in the east peak of the mountain. And the situation in the next week shall get better. Don't worry! As I know, if you share a room with other two or three people in a hotel on the top, it is not that expensive.
