If you have flight ticket from Beijing to Taipei, you can avail this 72 hour free transit permit with which you are not required visa just for your connecting flight to Taipei. You are allowed to leave the airport as well but you have to get a stay permit. Your single entry one can be used when you come to Beijing from Taipei.
