Hi, Will reach HK 530am and would like to optimise our time by covering the vicinity ( as we cant check in to hotel at that hour).Any advice on how to travel from HKIA-Lantau(Buddha)-TaiO -Cheung Chau? Very ambitious , ya. just to explore the possibility.TIA

You can take shuttle bus line S1 to Tung Chung Station. Then take the cable car to Lantau/Giant Buddha, but as I know, the cable car starts operating around 09:00. Upon arrival at Tung Chung, walk to Tung Chung Town Center Bus stop to take bus no. 11 to Tai O Bus Terminus. From Tai-o Bus Stop, take bus no. 1 to Mui Wo Bus Terminus. Then go to Mui Wo Ferry Pier to take a ferry to Cheung Chau.
