About:Chongqing Train

How to take High-speed train from Chongqing Chaotianmen Dock to Chengdu Shuangliu Int' l Airport

I will complete my Yangtze river cruise at Chongqing Chaotianmen dock in Nov 2013 and want to take a high-speed train to Chengdu Shuangliu international airport. Is the closest station at North Chongqing railway station? Which stop should I get off: at Chengdu east or Chengdu? What is the train # leaving in the afternoon? How much is the fare? How far from the Chengdu Railway station to the airport. How much for taking a taxi to get there. Thank you.

Chaotianmen Dock is about 10km from the Chongqing North Railway Station.
Among the 18 bullet trains to Chengdu, only five trains will stop at Chengdu Railway Station and the others will stop at the East Railway Station. So it is suggested to take the train you could catch at the railway station.
D5111, D5113 and D5115 leave around 12:00 to 14:00 every day. The fare is around 97RMB for second class seat and 116 for first class seat.
From Chengdu Railway Station to the airport, thre is about 30km. The taxi fare is around 50 to 60RMB.
