About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

Can I change the date on my visa? My flights were cancelled and I am now travelling at a later date

Sorry, you can't. You can apply for a new one and the old one automatically becomes invalid.

I understand my current will be invalid and I will need to get a new one but will I have to pay again for the new one.

Hi, you might not apply for a new one. If you travel before the date your current one becomes invalid. Then you won't have a problem. Usually, the validty is shown on your visa as "Enter before". If you enter PRC before that date, you won't have a problem.

However, if you travel after that date, then you have no choice but apply for a new one.
