can i apply a visa upon arrival?

Hi, Im a malaysia citizen working for a Japan company currently in India now. My company suddenly want me to go to china this october 6th for a important business trip for 7 days but the embassy is close during that period. so i cant apply. Please teach me asap

The VOA can't be easily acquired as you think. Foreigners who come to PRC for urgent humanitarian reasons, or are invited to deal with urgent business things, project rush repair or other urgent needs and have approved documents from related Chinese departments that prove they can apply for the VOA, may apply at the port when they arrive. So I don't think you can easily get the VOA.
