Hi. I'm citizen of Poland living in Dublin. I have got a few question: I'm planning to travel aroud the World next year, just because i dont know when exactly I'll enter to PRC and where I'll stay, is still possible to get one- when should i apply if i'm planning to pass the border at he beginning of May- where should i apply for Tibet Travel PermitThank you in advance for all the informationWith kind regards Beata

Hi, if you just pass by Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou or Chengdu less than 72 hours, you won't apply for one. However, I think you need to apply for a L type in advance since you plan to visit Tibet. The Tibet Travel Permit is very difficult to get. As I know, you need to join a group tour arranged by Chinese travel agencies and then they will arrange your Tibet Travel Permit for you. Individual foreign travelers are not allowed to travel in Tibet.
