regarding q2 visa

Question

HI I am Sri Lanka Married to Chinese Citizen and living in Shanghai for 3 years now holding family L now that it has changed to Q2 I had to take a medical examination in order to get it plus when I go with my wife to pudong Min-hang headquarters this person said he will give me 6 months one but he need medical report of mine and prove of bank statements and this visa i don't have to go back to my country I can renew each time not more than 6 months sounds good :)

Rohan, thanks for sharing this, so Q2 can be extended every 6 months. But why don't you apply for Q1 with longer duration?
