About:Shanghai Travel

Hi, I have to change airport from Shanghai Hongqiao to Pudong during my connection, can I use a 72 hour Visa free Transit to get from one airport to another?

I'm afraid not. The visa free transit is only suitable between international planes.

It is between international planes, my itinerary Tokyo - Shanghai Hongqiao and Shanghai Pudong - Hong Kong, is the 72 hour visa free transit valid for that?

Yes, you can avail this visa free transit in Shanghai if your stopover is less than 72 hours. It is ok for you to change airports. You can also confirm this with the Shanghai Airport Immigration Inspection at 0086-21-51105100.
