tourist with business inquiries

Question

I will be travelling in November, to Hong Kong with my son, who will be working there for a year.  I will stay about 30 days and will be travelling on weekends for tourism, likely to Beijing.  I would like to include making some business contacts while there, which would involve attending Real Estate offices and having meetings with Real Estate Brokers.   Will I need a special visa for that?

A tourist visa is ok, but if you need to enter mainland PRC frequently, you are suggested to ask for an invtation letter from your business contacts and apply for a multiple entry business F type (non-commercial) or M type (commercial) directly.
