We are planning on going to china on a short visit 4-6 days while on our way to the World Scout Jamboree in Japan. I figure it would be very educational for our Scouts. What kind of visa would we need. We are all Americans from West Virginia, USA

Hi, you can try to apply for a tourist visas for this visit. Or if you visit PRC on your way to Japan, a transit G will be ok as well.
