About:Beijing Train

Beijing to Erlianhaote (二连浩特)

I will arrive at BJ Capital Airport on early morning on Thursday, 10th October. I need to get to Erlianhaote or Erenhot in Inner Mongolia immediately. Is it faster by long-distance bus or train? I heard that there is no daily train service from BJ to Erlianhaote. I prefer express trains because I need to get to Erlianhaote as soon as possible. Thanks.

Yes, it is faster to take a bus than taking a train. The train takes about twelve hours and thirty minutes to about thirteen hours. The bus takes about nine hours.
The train for Erlian is around 08:05 in the morning from BJ Railway Station. There are several buses from Muxiyuan Bus Station and Beijiao Bus Station.
In my opinion, the direct bus is suggested.
