Hi, I will ride high speed train from beijing to shanghai on Oct 15. I plan to take the G1 or G13 train. i will buy my ticket earlier. If the train departs 9am, how early should i arrive? should i arrive 30 minutes before? thanks!

30 before is time enough, but you have to buy the tickets one ore 2 days before, because it is a very populare train

you can book the ticket from this site (TravelChinaGuide), which is really a reliable and good agency. you can either have them deliver the ticket to your appointed place or collect the ticket by yourself at the railway station with the ducoments provided by the site.
