the baggage allowance is different for different air lines and classes of seats.
generally, first class and business class passengers are allowed to check two pieces of luggage for free, and each should not exceed 30 - 40 kg (66 - 88 pounds), economy class passengers are allowed to check one piece of luggage that should not exceed 20kg (44 pounds).
as for carry-on luggage, first class and business class passengers are allowed to take up to two pieces of luggage and the total weight should not exceed 8kg; economy class passengers are allowed to take one piece that not over 5kg in weight.
