Cyprus passport - do I need visa for 24-hour stay in Bejing?

Hi, I have a Cyprus passport. I am visiting Asia in two weeks time and intend to travel to Bejing and stay there for 24 hours only, getting on a flight to South Corea after. Purpose is some business meetings (of non-remunerative nature).
