First, get your documents attested by the foreign affairs ministry of South Africa. Second, prepare for the following documents and then go to the Chinese embassy or consulate in your consular area to attest your documents:
1. Filled Attestation/Notarization Application form
2. original and copies of your documents to be attested
3. original and copies of your passport info page or any other valid ID cards
4. If you entrust someone to attest your documents, he/she must provide original and copies of his/her passport or ID cards
5. If you attest company documents, you need to provide a company letter which states clearly where the documents will be used and what's it for.
6. If you attestthe the company business license, you need to provide the corporation's passport info page copy and the document that can prove he/she is the corporation of the company

It takes four working days to deal with your attestation. Please remember that application by post is not accepted.
