Spanish Canadian to marry a chinese in china

I am a Spanish and I became a Canadian Permanent Resident 6 years ago. I have not apply for Canadian citizen yet and I still hold my Spanish passport and a Canadian Permanent Resident Card. Which government, Spain or Canada, should I apply for my single status certificate, please?

I think you might have to acquire two (one from Spain and the other from Canada). Why not ask your fiancee to consult with the local civil affairs bureau? It's their responsibility to deal with the marriage registration.
