About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

BJ-HK-BJ-US

Hi!

I was planning on going to HK from BJ for a few days before leaving to Atlanta (via Seoul). I have an F visa, 0 entry, valid until November 7th as I am currently doing an internship here. How should i do if I want to buy a ticket from BJ to HK for a few days and then in less than 72h to board on my flight to the US? Can I do that considering that I have 0 entry to China? Thanks.

Yes, if you hold US passport, or any other country listed above, you can fly from HK to USA via Beijing with a stopover less than 72 hours.

Thanks for your answer! So its ok if there are 2 separate confirmed tickets with different airlines: one flight from BJ to ATL and a separate one BJ-HK-BJ?

I don't think it is a problem.
