How is China Eastern Airlines? Is it worth occupying a hotel during transit half of 16 hrs. in the city of Shanghai?

The China Eastern Airline is very excellent.
It is worth occupying a hotel during the transit in SH and it is also worth seeing the city in the 16 hours.
