About:Exit Regulations of China

What happens if you NEED to take more than usd10000 out of china (in rmb).

I don't mind declaring it or whatever but I'm leaving china after living here for 2 years and I will have about 70,000 rmb to take home...

If you take too much, the extra may be confiscated. I suggest you deposit some of your money in a bank card, which will more secure and convenient.
