Children coming with the S1 visa

Good evening,
Please let me know if it's possible to ask for S1 type for my 2 children as me and my wife we have each a study X for one year. Normally when requesting a S1 you have to attach the residence permit from China, but we want to go all of us together. It will be extremely difficult to go there first me and then to ask my wife to come with the children!
With best regards and waiting for your thoughts,
Robert

If you and your wife have already got student X for study, now you can try to submit applications for your children with their birth certificates and your passports with X. Personally I think it is possible to do this.

Well, it wasn't possible... Today at the Embassy I was told that I need an official invitation on the standard "Invitation letter of duty authorization unit" , issued by the Foreign Office of the province where we intend to go. An official invitation from the government for 2 children??? I really don't know what to say... Has anybody encountered this problem? Shouldn't the invitation come from the individual who wants the family members to join him/her in China?

Hi Robert, you can try to contact your school for help, because they may able to get the official invitation letter fro your two daughters accompanying your study there.
