About:China Visa

I work in Taiwan but want to go Shanghai. Do I need a new visa.

I currently work in Taiwan and have been here for 2 months. I already have my ARC for Taiwan. Do I still need to apply for a tourist L if I will only be in Shanghai for a few days? If so, is there anything special I have to do because I am applying from Taiwan?

Hi, if you are now in Taiwan, you have to apply through a travel agency or an airline company for a tourist L from HK. Your ARC there is required. For tourism purpose, you should also prepare round-trip ticket to Shanghai and hotel reservation for your stay there.
