About:Guangzhou East Railway Station

Hi, I heard that foreigners have to buy a ticket at least 6 hours in advance for the train to Hong Kong from Guangzhou East Railway Station

Is this true?

There is not such saying that foreigners have o buy it at least 6 hours before and the ticket is easy to book when you are at the station.
But in my opinion, it is suggested to book in advance.
