Medical Requirement for an S1 type visa?

I am going for study in PRC for 3 years and would like to invite my Wife as well. In my case Medical Examination was required but I have looked at the requirements of S1 type and did not see and Medical Examination. So will she require the medical examination along with other requirements or not?
