Canadians entering China

Hello,

I'm going to be in Beijing for less than 72hrs for business meeting. I will enter from HK (Oct 31 and depart to Tokyo (Nov 2). As a Canadian national, do I require a visa or do a qualify for the waiver being less than 72hours and not leaving Beijing?

Thank you.

Yes, you can enjoy 72 hour free transit if you fly from HK to BJ then Japan.
