About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

i am visiting guanzhou but wanted to visit hongkong for a day and will be back again to Guangzhou

do i need to apply for another visa from hongkong to enter again at the same day?

If your Chinese visa is single entry, you should apply for a new one if you want to go back again to Guangzhou. BTW, I am not sure if you can get it in HK or not because I heard that this applies to HK residents only.
