Am I qualify for this visa waiver program if I take the train from Hom Hung Station and return there in two days?

I plan to take a 2 days side trip from Hong Kong to Guangzhou and return back to Hong Kong via train. I am an US citizen

Sorry, you need to apply for a visa if you go to Guangzhou from HK.
