Are there any limits/issues with bringing in stuff like vitamins and baby formula?

My wife plans on bringing in a bunch of formula and vitamins to give to her family in China. I don't want her being detained or getting in trouble. Can anyone comment on whether or not bringing this stuff in will get her in trouble?

I am not clear about the limitation about vitamins, but it is allowed to take in some for self-ue.

As for baby formula, if it is over 800g per can, you are allowed to take in no more than 6 cans. The 2.5kg of it is exempt from duty/tax and for the extra weight, you have to pay tax.
