shenzhen north railway stion -g train to changsha

Question

I plan  cross HK/China border at Futian checkpoint. How much time it takes to go through the border in early afternoon? Is it far from the subway to SZ North Railway station? Is the G-train station there with lift or escalator?

During weekends, you may need to wait for about half an hour to an hour. During other time, maybe 15 minutes is enough. Last time, I used about half an hour at around noon. To reach the north station from Futian checkpoint, there is about 16km and the local subway Longhua Line can take you to reach the north railway station directly. Yes, in the railway station, there are escalators.
