how to get to badailing great wall from redwall hotel, dongcheng district, beijing

We will stay in Redwall Hotel Address: No.31 Shatan North Street, Dongcheng District. And we are very exciting to go to Badailing Great Wall. Please advice us, what is the best way to get there from our hotel ? how much does it cost and how long ?Many thanks for your help. :)

From your hotel, you can ask the hotel staff to find the Dongsi Subway Station where you can take local subway line 5 to reach Yonghegong Lama Temple Station. At that station, you can change to line 2 to reach Jishuitan Station. From Jishuitan Station, you can walk to reach Deshengmen Station where you can find the bus 919 to take you to reach the Badaling easily. The subway fare is 2RMB and takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach Jishuitan. The bus 919 takes about an hour to an hour and ahalf to reach the Great Wall.
