About:Shenzhen Travel

Which is closer from Hk, Shenzhen or Guang Zhou? And which transportation should I take?

I would like to go to the GZ zoo and windows of the world @ SZ and back to HK again. Can you plz advise which route is better and way of transportation? Also if any recommended hotel that are nice but not so expensive. F.Y.I. I am traveling as a family with two young children. I also just want to spend two nights total for this trip before back to Hk. Thank you

SZ is connected with HK.
Since you will visit two places in both of the two cities, it is suggested to reach Window of the World in SZ first and then take the bullet train to GZ to visit the zoo.
From HK to SZ, you can use the East Rail Line of HK MTR to reach Lo Wu. Then you need to pass the Luohu Port to enter SZ and take the Luobao Line of SZ subway line to reach Window of the World directly.
For living, it is suggested to live Hanting or Home Inn, which are cheaper and nice. Either of the two hotels have many branches in China, so you can find one close to the place you visit.
