About:China Work Visa

Working Z -already on a spouse visa

I live with my wife in china.she is an English teacher and I am here on a spouse one. I have been offered a job but need a work Z and my prospective employer says I have to fly back to UK to obtain this -is this correct?

Yes, it is true accoring to the new regulation from Sept.1, but if you need to do it soon, you may try to contact a local agency if this can be done in HK instead.
