About:China Visa Application in USA

if I am on a cruise and it stops in HongKong, shanghi andXiamen must I get a Visa for 3 entrances

May I apply now even if my journey is FEB17,2014 and I will renew my passport as it it is finished May 2014

Hi, a double entry is enough because the one is not required for you to visit Hong Kong. For application itself, your passport should be valid for at least 6 months when you submit your application, so you can apply in late December 2013, or renew your passport before application.
